STARLUX Airlines partners Sabre to drive ambitious growth plans

STARLUX Airlines, Taiwan’s newest carrier, has signed a distribution agreement with Sabre. The deal will connect STARLUX to Sabre’s GDS platform which is made up of over 425,000 travel agents worldwide.

STARLUX launched operations on January 23 with flights to Penang, Danang, and Macau. The timing could not have been worse, as the airline suspended its Macau service on February 8 and is expected to cancel the Penang service on March 8 because of the ongoing COVID19 outbreak.

STARLUX has also postponed the launch of flights to Cebu until at least July.
